Your New Job:
In this role, you will report to the Technical Services Manager and work as part of the technical team. You’ll engage directly with customers on a variety of technical topics, offering hands-on guidance and support, while also collaborating with digital and design specialists to meet project requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Confidently communicate with customers on construction industry topics
- Advise clients on product specification and performance, covering areas such as fire, environmental, thermal, and structural considerations
- Perform design, gutter, fastener, panel span, acoustic, U-value, and condensation risk calculations using provided software
- Develop both standard and bespoke CAD details for project needs
- Support the digital specification service and work with the BIM team on design solutions using AutoCAD, Revit, and other 3D tools
- Deliver virtual consultations and meetings with architects, engineers, and contractors
- Proactively capture and upload opportunities to sales tracking systems
- Mentor junior team members and assist with departmental projects
- Experience working within the construction industry
- A qualification in Architectural Technology or Engineering
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or Tekla is an advantage
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
