Your New Job:
Reporting directly to senior finance leaders, you’ll help manage all aspects of the finance function. This role offers hands-on involvement in both day-to-day operations and key projects, with real opportunities to influence how things are done.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for month, quarter, and year-end close for multiple European entities, including general ledger postings and government returns
- Support interim and year-end audits, act as a main contact for auditors, and prepare statutory reports
- Prepare and review balance sheets and financial statements for accuracy
- Oversee accruals, prepayments, employee expenses, cash, and monthly payroll processes
- Champion continuous process improvements
- Provide guidance and training to team members
- Get involved in various ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed
What Are We Looking For?:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
- Solid understanding of general ledger accounting
- Confident using Microsoft Office and SAP
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience in accounts payable and receivable
- Knowledge of European VAT, BI tools, and US GAAP an advantage
