Customer Service Representative

Matrix Recruitment is partnering with a well-established organisation is seeking a Customer Service Representative/Order Processor to join their Customer Service team on a permanent basis in Kilkenny. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a people-focused environment and enjoys delivering excellent service.

In this role, you will report to the Customer Service Manager and serve as a key point of contact for customers. You will handle order processing and support, engaging directly with customers and collaborating with other departments as needed.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process customer orders received via fax, email, or phone.
• Reach out to customers to clarify any missing information on orders.
• Prepare and forward documentation for returns and replacements where required.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure order completion.
• Provide customers with catalogues, samples, price quotations, and relevant materials.
• Respond to customer service queries.
• Support the wider team and assist with additional duties as assigned by your supervisor.

What Are We Looking For?:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar customer-facing role.
• Strong technical customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Friendly, patient, and approachable attitude.
• Detail-oriented with strong reporting and administrative skills.
• Ability to handle conflict and work flexibly, including occasional overtime.
• Proactive, team-oriented work ethic.
