Your New Job:
As a Site Engineer, you will support the engineering team on-site, working with management and design teams. You’ll be hands-on in daily site operations, ensuring quality and efficiency are maintained. This role requires travel to different project sites and involves reporting directly to the site management team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with design teams to implement engineering solutions on-site
- Supervise site teams and monitor progress of construction projects
- Carry out surveying, setting out, and quality control tasks
- Maintain documentation, particularly around Health and Safety procedures
- Manage materials and coordinate reporting arrangements
- Communicate any project risks or issues to management promptly
- Foster positive working relationships with colleagues and clients
- Degree in Civil, Structural Engineering, or Construction Management
- Experience in construction and/or concrete works
- Proficient with total stations and strong setting out skills
- Familiar with AutoCAD, Revit, Trimble, and Leica iCR70 or equivalent
- Ability to read construction drawings and use MS Office packages
- Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
- Full Driver’s Licence and access to a car
- Valid Safe Pass; Manual Handling certification beneficial
- Fluent English; eligible to work in Ireland and the UK
