Matrix Recruitment is working alongside our client for a great opportunity as a Stock Controller to join a supportive warehouse team in a full-time role. You’ll play a key part in maintaining accurate stock levels and streamlining warehouse processes.
The role is based on-site, with set hours and a competitive hourly rate.
In this role, you’ll report to the Production Manager and work closely with other team members in the warehouse. This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. You’ll help ensure smooth stock movement from delivery through to production.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of stock control, from goods-in to distribution on the manufacturing lines
- Maintain real-time accuracy of stock records, including locations and quantities
- Manage release and return of stock materials as needed
- Conduct regular cycle counts and monitor storage space usage
- Support contract manufacturing customers with stock tracking and audit requirements
- Report on waste disposal and any lost product
What Are We Looking For?:
- Capable of working both independently and within a team setting
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good computer skills (experience with SAP is an advantage)
- Proactive, energetic, and open to learning
- A current forklift licence is desirable
