Here’s an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation in a Production Planner role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with cross-functional teams to keep production running smoothly and efficiently.

Your New Job:
As the Production Planner, you’ll play a key part in developing and managing production schedules based on customer demand and sales forecasts. You’ll collaborate closely with teams across Procurement, Production, Engineering, Quality, and Sales. This is a hands-on role that involves regular interaction with various departments to ensure on-time delivery and optimal workflow.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules

  • Coordinate with Procurement to secure raw materials and components

  • Monitor inventory, working with Stores to avoid shortages or overstocking

  • Liaise with key teams to align production priorities

  • Identify bottlenecks and suggest process improvements

  • Track and report on key production metrics (KPI, efficiency, downtime)

  • Keep ERP/MRP systems updated with accurate production data

  • Expedite urgent orders and manage changes to schedules

  • Support ongoing improvement projects within planning and manufacturing


What Are We Looking For?

  • 2+ years’ experience in a production planning role within manufacturing

  • Experience in engineering, mechanical, or industrial manufacturing is a plus

  • Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail

  • Confident communicator with cross-functional teamwork skills

  • Advanced Excel skills desirable

  • Familiarity with Lean principles and/or SAP would be advantageous
