Matrix Recruitment are recruiting for an exciting Financial Accountant role in a progressive and future forward industry sector.
This is a 6 month contract position with excellent remote-working options (infrequent requirement to be onsite in the office).

Your New Job:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing key financial reports, analysing business performance, and supporting efficient financial operations. Reporting to a department leader, you’ll work collaboratively across teams and help strengthen financial processes and controls.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly financial reports and provide insightful commentary
- Reconcile key accounts and assist with closing activities at month-end and year-end
- Work with various departments to review business results and drive cost efficiency
- Evaluate product or service profitability and support investment reviews
- Produce KPI dashboards and monitor important financial metrics
- Provide financial models and analysis for decision-making
- Help ensure compliance with financial procedures and support audits
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in finance systems and processes
What Are We Looking For?:
- Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or similar)
- 1+ years’ experience in a financial accounting or related finance position
- Skilled in Excel functions such as pivot tables and lookups; experience with finance systems (ERP experience preferred)
- Sharp analytical thinker with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator with good business awareness
