My client, a proven evolving industry leader, supplier and distributor of construction products is seeking an experienced, commercially driven Sales Executive to manage and grow their Sligo operation. This externally based role is primarily focused on account management, ensuring long-term client satisfaction, while also identifying new opportunities for business development in the region.
The role will work closely with the Sligo depot team to support operational efficiency and contribute to the depot’s revenue targets.
This permanent position is primarily based at the Sligo site, and will require travel to clients on the west coast of Ireland.

Your new role
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and nurture relationships with a portfolio of existing customers across the West of Ireland.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing enquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the depot team to ensure effective management of the sales process and product delivery.
- Monitor account performance and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and project progress.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts.
- Provide clients with technical support and advice as required (training provided).
- Work with the team to deliver Sligo depot revenue and performance targets.
- Support new business development, focusing primarily on high-potential accounts within the region.
- Proven experience in account management or B2B sales, ideally within key account management.
- Strong relationship-building and client management skills.
- Commercially aware with the ability to identify opportunities within existing accounts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role while collaborating effectively with the depot team.
- Comfortable travelling across the West of Ireland for client meetings and site visits.
- Full Irish driving license.
