My client, a proven evolving industry leader, supplier and distributor of construction products are hiring a Logistics Manager to be part of a dynamic team environment. You’ll be joining a well-established organisation, focusing on improving operational effectiveness, driving efficiencies, and supporting the delivery of our strategic growth objectives.
This permanent position is primarily based from the Sligo site, with regular travel required to our Dublin and Belfast sites.

Your new role
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage operational, stores, and logistical teams across all three depots in Ireland.
- Develop and implement a group-wide operations and logistics strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Drive operational improvements and efficiencies, setting and monitoring key performance targets.
- Work collaboratively with sales and purchasing teams to ensure effective inventory placement and distribution.
- Manage supplier relationships and coordinate operational requirements with external partners.
- Support and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Spend time on-site at each depot to understand operational challenges and support team development.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Significant experience in operations, logistics, or stores management within a multi-site business.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive operational efficiency.
- Strategic planning experience at a group or multi-site level.
- Proven track record in leading teams and delivering measurable improvement targets.
- Excellent organisational, planning, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
- Ability to travel between our depots across Ireland.
- Full Irish driving license
