What You Need to Know:
This is an excellent opportunity for a Packaging Technologist to join a well-established organisation on a full-time basis. You’ll play a key role in managing packaging, labelling, and pre-pack execution, focused on driving operational readiness and ensuring compliance across multiple projects.

Your New Job:
In this position, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of labelling systems, packaging specifications, and artwork approval processes. You will be hands-on in ensuring every aspect of packaging meets the needs of both the business and its stakeholders, working cross-functionally and supporting manufacturing operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain NiceLabel templates and master data files.
  • Troubleshoot label systems and coordinate with support teams.
  • Set up and validate barcodes for various products and maintain related SAP and palletiser data.
  • Create and oversee packaging and material specifications; review artwork and recycling information.
  • Approve pack formats, sizes, and label positioning while supporting first delivery checks.
  • Issue packaging numbers in line with technical sign-off requirements.
  • Partner with engineering and manufacturing on technical packaging execution and line validation.
  • Ensure compliance with internal, customer, and regulatory standards and manage reporting submissions.
  • Review and approve new materials and supplier specifications, supporting packaging trials.
What Are We Looking For?:
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Packaging Technology, Food Science, or Engineering.
  • Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing is essential.
  • Strong capability with systems such as NiceLabel, Colos, SAP, and artwork tools.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and collaborative approach.
