Matrix Recruitment is recruiting a Warehouse Supervisor Role for our Client a Pharmaceutical Company based in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary
The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for assisting with managing and developing the warehouse function to ensure best practice processes and procedures within warehousing, and logistics are exercised to maximise effectiveness and efficiency. You must have a strong background in operations and people management
This is a full time, permanent position
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and lead the day-to-day operations of a busy Order Fulfilment Warehouse Operation
Manage the daily distribution of orders
Monitoring cycle counts and investigating variances arising from these
Driving KPI’s performance through the teams
Implementing continuous improvement initiatives by communicating job expectations and coach employees
Motivating and managing a team of Warehouse Operators
Ensuring processes and procedures are maintained to ensure maximum efficiency
Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
Ensure that capacity needs are met by storage availability
Maintain high standards in housekeeping and Safety
Essential Criteria:
Ideally, 2-3+ year’s work experience in a warehouse supervisor role within a high-volume pharmaceutical environment
Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency
You must have good IT skills and demonstrate a can-do attitude with hands on commitment to getting the job done
Experience working in a Warehouse / Distribution / Logistics environment would be advantageous
Excellent planning and organisation skills with a high level of attention to detail
Proven track record in leading a team and who can set objectives, performance manage a team and develop individuals to achieve their potential
Familiarity with operating Warehouse Lifting Equipment is desirable
