What you need to know

You will work as a Senior Buyer/Planner (Production and Materials) for our client, a large manufacturing facility in the South-East.

You will be an integral part of the Supply Chain team and you will report to the Purchasing Manager.

Your new job

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Support the Supply Chain team optimising the efficiency of manufacturing operations and meriting customer service expectations.

  • Manage Purchase Order expectations and delivery dates.

  • Manage supply constraints and liaise with vendors.

  • Ensure demand requirements are met.

  • Issue all purchase orders.

  • Manage data maintenance of shipment orders.

  • Participate in projects that are assigned to you.

  • Report on KPIs and analyse variances.

What are we looking for?

  • Masters degree in Supply Chain or similar

  • Proven experience in a WCM/Lean manufacturing environment

  • Proficient in MS Excel and SAP

  • Excellent communicator and interpersonal skills
