Our Westmeath-based Manufacturing client is seeking an EHS Manager to join their team on a Maternity Contract.
The EHS Manager will be the key contact for all EHS matters aligned with the Manufacturing facility.
This is an on-site position. The hour of work is 8AM-5PM. With 1 hour lunch break.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Environmentally focused dealing with local county council in areas such as air and noise pollution
- Regular auditing and testing, ensuring Air emissions license is in place
- Ensuring correct PPE is being worn by floor staff working equipment and driving machinery
- Work cross-functionally with different departments
- Carry out and update Risk Assessments
- Auditing towards ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems
- Keep up to date on Health and Safety legislation
What we need from you
- A degree/diploma in Environmental, Health and Safety
- 2/3 years’ experience in a Manufacturing environment
- Exposure to 45001 and 14001 standards, with experience auditing to these standards
