What You Need to Know:
Here’s an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a dynamic environment. This hands-on role is ideal for someone reliable and detail-oriented, looking to make an impact within a fast-moving warehouse team.
Your New Job:
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for the accurate movement, storage, and dispatch of goods and materials. The role operates on a 2-week rotating shift cycle with set working hours. You’ll work closely with various departments, supporting daily operations within a physically active setting.
Hours of work:
Week 1
Monday-Thursday 6am-2.30pm
Friday 8am-1pm
Week 2
Monday-Wednesday 8am-6pm
Thursday 8am-5pm
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pick, inspect, and load orders, ensuring thorough pre-delivery checks
- Receive, store, and safely organise materials in the racking system
- Coordinate movement and transfer of inventory and maintain Kanban areas
- Support Warehouse Administrators with daily activities
- Liaise with other teams to manage sample shipments
- Manage stock levels for packaging, consumables, and PPE
- Organise warehouse space, maintain storage areas, and suggest improvements
- Conduct periodic stock takes and report discrepancies
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping
What Are We Looking For?:
- Proven experience in a busy warehouse environment
- Valid full forklift license (essential)
- Competent in using warehouse management and MRP systems
- Confident IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong health & safety awareness
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Dependable, punctual, and a team player
- Flexible with a positive approach to changing operational needs
