What you need to know

My client, a well-established, advancing Digital Marketing Agency in Athlone ,Co. Westmeath is looking to recruit a Social Media Manager for their facility.

This is a permanent job! With a potential start date of Mid - January. 

Remote working available upon completion of training.

Your new job

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Assist the department in social media campaigns

  • Provide project management for content creation

  • Manage and maintain social media for existing clients

  • Launch optimized online adverts through multiple platforms.

  • Set up/manage multiple campaigns

  • Provide support/cover on occasion in our sister company (website technical support via call/email, website updates etc)

  • Create a strong digital presence both internally and externally.

What are we looking for?

  • Previous work experience from a Digital Agency only – essential

  • 3rd level degree or equivalent, professional qualification

  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in a social media role

  • Experience in developing and running multiple social media campaigns is essential.

  • Must be Facebook & Instagram Superuser

  • Must have previous/current campaign samples of your work – required

  • Strong in Social Media Marketing, Advertising and Content Writing

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
