Matrix Recruitment is seeking candidates for a Senior Maintenance Manager based in West Waterford.

This is a senior hands-on leadership role where you run the maintenance function & to make sure all production equipment is safe, reliable, compliant, and ready to run when needed.
Your new role
Key Responsibilities:

Leads and coaches engineers and technicians

Keeps machines running, prevents breakdowns, and fixes issues properly.

Plans maintenance so production isn’t disrupted.

Owns reliability, spare parts, budgets, and KPIs.

Drives continuous improvement and supports site efficiency targets (OEE).

Ensures compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
What You Need:
- An Engineering Degree.
- 5 yrs + management experience, at least 10 yrs in maintenance.
- Hands on People Management experience is key.
- Experience managing large budgets & capital projects.
- Sector experience: consumer health, pharma, med devices, or heavily regulated manufacturing environment.
- Strong communicator who takes ownership.
