Matrix Recruitment are working along side our client for this excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation as an Executive Assistant, in the healthcare industry. You will be providing vital administrative and project support to senior leadership. You’ll play a key role in boosting daily operations, supporting marketing initiatives, and helping drive process improvements.
This is a full time, permanent position based in Cork City.
Your New Job:
As Executive Assistant, you’ll report directly to the Executive Director or a delegated person within the Senior Management Team. This role is central to keeping communication channels clear, ensuring smooth coordination across departments, and supporting special projects. You’ll also be involved in both office administration and marketing-related activities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide proactive, confidential support to the Senior Management Team
- Manage internal and external communications, prioritising and coordinating responses
- Prepare agendas, take minutes, and oversee meeting logistics
- Draft and format reports, presentations, and internal communications
- Assist with cross-departmental initiatives and special projects
- Support the creation and distribution of marketing materials and campaigns
- Maintain and update content for newsletters, brochures, social media, and website
- Liaise with stakeholders and support office administration tasks
- Contribute ideas to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency
What Are We Looking For?:
- Degree or professional qualification in Business, Administration, or Marketing (desirable)
- Proven administrative experience in a fast-paced setting
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office; design software knowledge is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to juggle multiple priorities
- Proactive, discreet, and professional
- Marketing or communications experience is a bonus
