What You Need to Know:
Exciting opportunity for a H&S Officer to lead safety activities on a major new site. This role starts with a construction focus and transitions to a broader QHSE remit once operations begin.
Your New Job:
You will manage all Health & Safety matters during construction, and then oversee site-wide QHSE once operational. You’ll report to the QHSE Manager and work closely with management and site teams.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead all Health & Safety activities on site
- Attend EHS meetings and handle incident reporting
- Run training sessions and toolbox talks
- Conduct inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Prepare reports for management
- Oversee staff inductions and keep safety policies up to date
- Manage QHSE systems and ensure ISO compliance
What Are We Looking For?:
- Experience in manufacturing or construction
- Qualification in Occupational Health & Safety Management
- Strong knowledge of QHSE laws and standards
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
