What you need to know
You will work as a Shipping/Inventory Coordinatorfor our client, a large manufacturing company based in the South-East.
You will become a member of the Supply Chain team and take on the responsibility of coordinating shipping activities and managing inventory movement. You will report into the Supply Chain Director.
This is a 12-month contractwith an excellent salary package.
Your new job:
Key duties & responsibilities:
Ensure the materials flow into manufacturing operations
Co-ordinate inbound and internal transport arrangements
Manage all local logistics and call offs
Ensured inventory transactions are posted in a timely manner and are accurate
Review inventory reports, lead lists, and shipping requirements
Communicate with the Customer Service team on the weekly shipping process
Handle and resolve all issues in relation to shipping/inventory issues
Monitor performance of delivery partners
Ensure tariff classifications and customs declarations are accurate
What are we looking for?
3-5 years experience in Supply Chain coordination
Degree level ideally in Supply Chain
Strong manufacturing distribution and inventory control principles
Experience of SAP would be ideal
Excellent organizer with strong communication skills
