​What you need to know

You will work as a Shipping/Inventory Coordinatorfor our client, a large manufacturing company based in the South-East.

You will become a member of the Supply Chain team and take on the responsibility of coordinating shipping activities and managing inventory movement. You will report into the Supply Chain Director.

This is a 12-month contractwith an excellent salary package.

Your new job:

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Ensure the materials flow into manufacturing operations

• Co-ordinate inbound and internal transport arrangements

• Manage all local logistics and call offs

• Ensured inventory transactions are posted in a timely manner and are accurate

• Review inventory reports, lead lists, and shipping requirements

• Communicate with the Customer Service team on the weekly shipping process

• Handle and resolve all issues in relation to shipping/inventory issues

• Monitor performance of delivery partners

• Ensure tariff classifications and customs declarations are accurate

What are we looking for?

• 3-5 years experience in Supply Chain coordination

• Degree level ideally in Supply Chain

• Strong manufacturing distribution and inventory control principles

• Experience of SAP would be ideal

• Excellent organizer with strong communication skills
