Matrix Recruitment is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for our Manufacturing client in Wexford.
Design & delivery of advanced automation and packaging machinery
Your New Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead mechanical design projects from concept to FAT/SAT.
- Create and review CAD models, BOMs, & design documentation (SolidWorks/PDM).
- Ensure compliance with GMP, CE, and safety standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive design improvements
What You Need:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Mechanical design experience of automated machinery.
- Expertise in high-speed mechanisms, pneumatics, servo systems, cams, drives.
- Strong CAD skills (SolidWorks/PDM).
- Experience in pharma/medical automation, robotics, and vision/serialization systems or similar.
- Knowledge of GMP, CE marking, ISO safety standards.
