Key duties & responsibilities:

• Design & development of specialized equipment- mechanical systems and products.
• Overseeing projects from start to finish.
• Writing technical proposals and estimating costs for customers.
• Using SolidWorks software to create detailed mechanical designs and drawings.
• Designing screens and flow diagrams for controlling machines.
• Analyzing risks associated with machines.
• Creating documentation to meet GAMP standards.
• Planning and designing mechanical aspects of new products.
• Developing testing procedures and validating new designs.
• Building prototypes for testing and customer demos.
• Reviewing technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Working with engineering teams, vendors, and contractors

What are we looking for?

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of mechanical design experience.
• Hands-on experience with custom machine design (sensors, pneumatics, welders, cameras).
• Industry experience in pharma, medical devices, or specialized equipment manufacturing.
• Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design, product development, and manufacturing.
• Project management experience.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
