Matrix Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Audit Senior Manager / Director to join a well-established professional services organisation based in Dublin.

Your new job
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver complex insurance audit engagements, ensuring high-quality outcomes, on-time delivery and commercial performance.
- Partner closely with senior leadership to help grow and develop the insurance audit practice.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor on insurance-specific accounting, audit and regulatory matters.
- Shape audit strategy, methodology and service delivery as the practice continues to expand.
- Lead, mentor and develop high-performing audit teams, supporting career progression and capability building.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with key insurance clients and stakeholders.
- Review and sign off on audit reports, opinions and governance documentation.
- Ensure compliance with professional standards, regulatory requirements and internal quality controls.
- Identify and support new business opportunities and contribute to broader firm-wide growth initiatives.
- Collaborate with colleagues across service lines to deliver integrated solutions to clients.
- Represent the insurance audit function confidently with clients and senior management.
What are we looking for?
- ACA or ACCA qualified with 3 years+ post-qualification experience.
- Strong technical auditing and accounting skills, including knowledge of the ISAs and accounting standards particularly FRS103 and IFRS17.
- Proven experience operating at senior manager or director level.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders and build trusted client relationships.
- Commercial mindset with a genuine interest in growing and shaping a specialist practice.
- Strong communication, leadership and strategic thinking skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
