You will work as a Quality Engineer for our client, a highly successful and well-established manufacturing company in Co. Cavan
As a Quality Engineer you will be involved with the quality orientated roles associated with the manufacturing plant.
This role is a Permanent opportunity where the working hours operate 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM Monday to Friday.

Duties and responsibilities
- Involved in the Creation of quality documentation including work instruction, procedures etc – ISO management systems.
- Internal auditing.
- Carry out a Proactive review and improvement of systems and processes to ensure the maintenance of standards.
- Maintaining accurate quality documentation.
- Working closely with manufacturing staff to ensure quality protocols are followed and documentation is correctly maintained and implement any new changes or adaptations based on a quality review.
- Involved in the Inspection and testing of various parts of manufacturing including products, components, processes, and comparing against predefined standards.
- Strong focus on the analysis of manufacturing data and creation of reports for senior staff members based on quality documentation.
- Have a strong external relationship with suppliers, customers, etc.
- Continuous improvement in the manufacturing process - Lean / Six Sigma / problem Solving techniques.
Job requirements
- Degree in Quality/Engineering or related field.
- Ideally 2-3 years industrial experience in similar role.
- Proactive approach in there day to day duties.
- Ability to work effectively with other departments in the companies’ wider goals.
