Our client, a leading Irish food manufacturer based in Wexford, is seeking an experienced QA Supervisor to join their team.

This is a key role ensuring that all production activities meet the highest quality and safety standards while supporting continuous improvement across the site.

This is a shift role and is a Full Time Permanent Position.
Shift Pattern as below: 
Week 1 Monday to Thursday 0500 to 1500
Week 2 Monday to Friday 1500 to 2300
Week 3 Monday to Thursday 0500 to 1500
Week 4 Monday to Friday 1500 to 2300


Your new job

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Supervise and monitor day-to-day production activities to ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and hygiene standards.

  • Maintain and implement quality systems including BRC, HACCP, and GMP requirements.

  • Carry out product inspections and ensure compliance with QAS, recipes, and specifications.

  • Identify and report quality, cleaning, and engineering issues; implement and verify corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

  • Investigate and manage customer complaints, ensuring root causes are identified and actions are closed out.

  • Support continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality and process efficiency.

  • Conduct raw material inspections, manage stock control, and assist in supplier monitoring and traceability compliance.

  • Ensure production processes follow established SOPs and HACCP plans.


What are we looking for?

  • 3–5 years’ experience in a QA or quality supervisory role within the food industry.

  • Strong knowledge of BRC, HACCP, GMP, and quality management systems.

  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational, planning, and time management skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative approach to working across teams.

  • Confident, proactive, and flexible, with a passion for continuous improvement.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable maintaining accurate quality documentation.
