Key duties & responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop project delivery strategies aligned with project needs and industry best practices.
- Financial Management:
- Prepare robust project financial models, engage with investors, and control project costs.
- Project Execution:
- Implement plans for on-time, within-budget project delivery, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Procurement and Contract Management:
- Manage procurement, negotiate contracts, and administer deliveries to meet project goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Approvals:
- Liaise with stakeholders, engage communities, and coordinate approvals for project success.
- Team Leadership and Performance:
- Build a high-performance team, monitor project performance, and ensure safety compliance.
- Honours Degree in Engineering (NFQ 8)
- Recognised Project Management qualification.
- Experience with large scale thermal projects - OCGT's and CCGT's
- Commercial business training an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager
- Experience in Thermal Power Plants / Energy Sector
