Job description

You will work as a Project Lead for our client, a leading medical manufacturing company in Galway.

As the Project Lead, you will be part of the Facilities Project Team, overseeing/managing specific projects. You will work as part of a team across a number of departments, ensuring projects are delivered on time. This is a 1-year contract onsite in Galway (strong possibility of going permanent)

Your new job

  • Project Lead will work and adhere to specific project management process and procedures.

  • Responsibility to support the PMO Pipeline of projects. Projects typically involve line or layout changes, infrastructure changes, changes to cleanroom environment, and workspace.

  • Managing a number of projects at any one time, managing their time and calendar, scheduling, and leading team meetings.

  • Working with various departments across Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, EHS, and Quality

  • Oversee the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.

  • Review status of projects and budgets and prepares status reports.

  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals and objectives.

  • Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, clients, and other stakeholders.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Degree Qualified ideally in Engineering or Construction.

  • At 2 years experiences in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, and tactics within one job area.

  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills. Strong leadership, decision-making & problem-solving skills.

  • Competent user of MS Office tools Access, Excel, Project, Word, PowerPoint.

  • Excellent organisational and planning skills required.
