This is a permanent role with the possibility of a 3/4-Day work week option

Your new role
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full NPD process — from concept and recipe creation to product launch, driving innovation from start to finish.
- Turn market insights and customer needs into winning products, especially in the private label space.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (commercial, production, quality) to ensure smooth scale-up and delivery.
- Stay ahead of food trends and consumer demands to guide the development of relevant, standout products.
- Provide leadership within the NPD function, mentoring team members and enhancing the company's innovation capability.
What You Need:
- 4–5+ years of experience in food NPD, ideally across multiple companies.
- Experience in dairy sector and FMCG sector.
- Proven experience developing and launching products in the private label space.
- Solid understanding of sensory testing, shelf life, and food safety protocols.
- Strong grasp of the Irish and UK retail food sector.
- A “foodie” mindset — someone passionate, curious, and tuned into product trends.
- Confident communicator, able to influence and lead within cross-functional teams.
- Organised, commercially minded, and delivery-focused.
