Our client is seeking a Maintenance Fitter to join their team.

Our client is a well-established and respected company in Co. Longford and has excelled from a small scale to being one of the leading providers in the Construction and Engineering sector.

In this role you will be reporting to the Maintenance Manager, and you will be tasked with ensuring that the plants maintenance is being adhered to and ultimately in line with production targets.

This role is a permanent position with a competitive salary on offer. Additionally In this role there will be a mixture of day and evening shifts.

The day shift will be 6AM to 3PM. 2PM finish on a Friday. Where the evening shift will 3PM to 12PM with a 10PM finish on a Friday.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall maintenance and repair of the equipment and machinery.

• Trouble shoot and repair damaged or poor performing equipment.

• Ensure that Maintenance documentation is up to date and relayed onto management.

• Provide Technical feedback on the performance of the manufacturing line and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and yield output.

• Carry out Preventative Maintenance on all manufacturing equipment on site.

• Remaining Health and Safety Conscious always.

What are we looking for?

• Trade Qualified Fitter

• 2-3 years’ post apprenticeship experience in a manufacturing environment

• Competent in Maintenance processes in a manufacturing environment

• Willing to work effectively in a team environment.

• Provide a proactive approach to any mechanical issues on the production line.
