HR Operations Manager
About the Role
Matrix Recruitment is working exclusively with our valued client, Panelto Foods in Co. Longford, to recruit an experienced HR Operations Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to partner with a fast-growing, world-class bakery in Longford, supporting a high-volume, dynamic manufacturing environment.
You’ll act as a key business partner to Operations, ensuring workforce planning, employee engagement, and performance management are aligned with production demands and business goals. What You’ll Do
- Provide proactive HR support to the Operations leadership team.
- Lead end-to-end HR activities: recruitment, workforce planning, employee relations, absence management, and engagement.
- Support shift planning and resourcing to meet production peaks.
- Implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices in line with Irish employment law.
- Champion performance management, coaching managers to drive accountability and results.
- Deliver learning and development initiatives to enhance operational skills and leadership capability.
- Track HR metrics to inform operational decisions and drive improvements.
- Support change management initiatives, fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Degree in HR, Business, or related discipline; CIPD desirable.
- 3+ years’ experience in a senior HR role, ideally in FMCG or manufacturing.
- Strong HR business partnering skills, balancing strategic insight with practical delivery.
- Knowledge of Irish employment law and HR metrics.
- Resilient, hands-on, data-driven, and excellent at influencing across all levels.
- Experienced in driving engagement, leading change, and supporting operational excellence.
