What you need to know
You will work as a Financial Reporting Accountant for our client, an expanding services company in the Carlow/Kilkenny region.
You will be responsible for providing a comprehensive data reporting support service. You will report into the Assistant Finance Manager.
The role is a 6-month contract with an attractive salary.
Your new job:
You will be expected to exploit the data reporting capabilities of existing systems and packages to deliver an enhanced financial reporting capability.
Key duties and responsibilities:
Gather data from various department systems to support the preparation of the full range of external and internal reporting requirements.
Provide detailed cost reports across all activities and an accurate allocation basis.
Prepare financial reporting schedules as directed.
Prepare budgets and compare actual costs leading to variance analysis.
Handle queries from various agencies.
Maintain and develop the fixed asset register.
Support internal financial control policies and procedures.
What are we looking for?
Qualified Accountant/finalist with relevant degree.
Excellent IT skills particularly Excel.
Strong communicator with good planning and interpersonal skills.
