What you need to know

You will work as a Finance Manager for our client, a highly successful and expanding manufacturing company in Waterford.

You will be responsible for all financial accounting activities in the plant. The role is permanent with an attractive financial package.

The company will support your career development and there will be opportunities for advancement in the future. You will report to the Managing Director and will have an Accounts Assistant reporting to you.

Your new job:

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial accounts on a monthly basis.

  • Present full set of accounts to the Board.

  • Cash flow management and forecasting.

  • Manage external relationship with bank, insurance, government bodies, Revenue, Customs, external auditors, and IT Consultants.

  • Prepare strategic financial plans.

  • Work closely with Management Accountant on budgets and forecasts.

  • Manage debt financing.

  • Work closely with the management team and support them.

What are we looking for?

  • Qualified Accountant with at least 3 years+ financial accounting experience

  • Strong leadership qualities, capacity to shape the finance function.

  • Hands-on, can do-will do, go-to person.

  • Positive, excellent communicator and listener.
