Finance Analyst has become available for our client, a highly successful and continuously innovative multi-national company in Co. Westmeath. This job will give you the opportunity to be innovative and forward - thinking and make a difference.
As the Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring inventory costings and variances are analysed globally. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with experience working as an analyst in a manufacturing company.
This is a permanent job. Hybrid working 1 day required onsite.

Key duties & responsibilities:
Maintenance of inventory standard costing across a global organisation
Analyse and present inventory valuation movements due to costing updates
Analyse and present inventory variances monthly
Responsible for completed inventory Balance sheet reconciliations highlighting any required actions.
Responsible for accurate and timely submission of monthly financials in line with month end.
Business partner with global supply chain to support the accuracy of inventory across a global organisation.
What are we looking for?
At least 3+ years’ work experience in a similar finance analyst background within a manufacturing . Inventory experience is a distinct advantage.
Qualified Accountant or nearly qualified.
Strong commercial awareness of the business.
Strong financial and problem-solving skills.
Excellent MS Office skills with excellent Excel skills.
Working with an ERP system.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to take ownership.
