What you need to know
You will work as a Finance Analyst (graduate level with some accounting experience) for our client, a multi-site services organization. There are options on location where one can work and there could be a mix.
The company will commit to training you on all key aspects of the role. The role is permanent with an attractive financial package. You will be part of the finance team and report into the Finance Manager.
Your new job
Key duties & responsibilities:
Manage the inventory accounting process for a number of business units
Organize physical stock counts and compare results to the system
Ensure the accuracy of the valuation of inventory
Analyse variances and recommend changes for process improvement
Monitor material usage and analyse variances
Prepare standard costs for all relevant processes
Ensure direct costs are properly allocated
Provide gross margin analysis
Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts
What are we looking for?
Degree level in Business
Recently Qualified Accountant but not essential
Strong on Excel, SAP experience would be a plus
Excellent communicator, influencer, open mindset
Can identify opportunities
