What You Need to Know:
Matrix Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Custody Client Onboarding Analyst to join a well-established financial services organisation based in Dublin City Centre.
This role sits within a Corporate Trust and Custody function, focusing on onboarding new clients, supporting legal transactions, and ensuring all documentation, governance, and operational requirements are met.
The position is a 6-month contract role and offers a hybrid working model of 4 days per week in the office and 1 day working from home.
Your New Job:
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support onboarding of new clients, particularly in the custody domain
- Review legal documents, including Custody Agreements, Agency Agreements, and Trust Deeds
- Manage a portfolio of active onboarding and transaction matters
- Prepare and present information to internal approval committees
- Review complex and specialised debt capital market and custody-related transaction structures from initiation through completion
- Act as a key point of contact with external legal advisors and partner with Client and Business Development teams to support and negotiate transaction terms
- Manage transaction and deal documentation for new and existing clients, ensuring all standards are met throughout the lifecycle
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to minimise and control risk
- Act as a subject matter expert for assigned products and jurisdictions, sharing updates on market and regulatory developments
What Are We Looking For?:
- Third level education preferred or similar relevant background
- Ideally 3+ years’ experience in Corporate Trust, Custody, and/or Debt Capital Markets
- Skilled at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Proven experience analysing complex legal documentation and providing compliant solutions
- Ability to develop legally robust and commercially practical solutions
- Strong analytical and inquisitive mind
- Excellent written and verbal communication with strong negotiation skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
