Matrix Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Associate HR Business Partner to join a leading pharmaceutical organisation based in South Dublin.

This is a 13-month fixed-term contract working in a hybrid capacity (three days on-site per week).

In this role, you will work closely with senior HR professionals to deliver people initiatives, coordinate projects, and support employees across a range of HR programmes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR Generalist looking to grow into a HR Business Partner role within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

Your new job
Key duties and responsibilities:
  • Support the delivery of HR programmes and projects across the Irish business network, including employee engagement, wellbeing, inclusion, and culture initiatives.
  • Coordinate HR activities such as meetings, events, reporting, and communication updates, ensuring actions are tracked and completed.
  • Act as a liaison with external HR vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality delivery and compliance with service level agreements.
  • Maintain and update HR policies, internal portals, and documentation to ensure accessibility and accuracy.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly HR reports to support business decisions and governance requirements.
  • Provide operational support to HR Business Partners across key employee lifecycle processes including recruitment, onboarding, talent management, performance reviews, and learning & development.
  • Partner with managers to address HR queries, case management, and employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Support HR induction and onboarding activities, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Assist with occupational health coordination, case management, and global mobility processes.
  • Organise HR-led events, forums, and communications to promote a positive workplace culture and strengthen leadership engagement.

What are we looking for?
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related discipline; CIPD qualification (or equivalent) preferred.
  • 2–3 years’ experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within a large or multinational organisation.
  • Good understanding of Irish employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and passionate about continuous learning and professional growth.
