​What you need to know

You will work as an Accountant for our client, a long-established manufacturing company based in Tipperary.

You will report into the Finance Manager, and you will have 3 direct reports who will cover Accounts Payable and Accounts Administration.

This is a permanent job with an attractive salary and benefits package on offer.

Working from home will be available for 2 days a week after probation period.

Your new job

You will be responsible for the Financial Accountancy side of the business

​

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Preparation of full set of Accounts in group format and completion of supporting report packs

• Prepare commentary on KPI performance and identify areas for improvement with the management team

• Plan weekly cash flow and cash requirements on a monthly basis

• Develop Financial information systems and ensure strong controls are in place

• Work closely with all Sales Offices

• Prepare the Statutory Accounts and liaise closely with the external auditors

• Strong knowledge of Accountancy Software packages

• Flexible can do, will do attitude and an excellent problem solver

• Advanced Excel Skills

• Strong commercial acumen
