A leading medical device company that is experiencing considerable growth is looking for a committed and driven Tool Setter for its team in Co. Longford. In this role you will be reporting to the Toolroom manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop a career in the manufacturing industry as you will receive on-site training.

This is a Permanent full-time role.

Your new job

• Assist in the general maintenance and installation of moulds into machines

• Work alongside Senior Tool Setters in relation to trouble shooting and tool changes

• Maintain and ensure that the maintenance and installation of moulds are within quality regulations and are in line with the company’s reputation and expectations

• Work with Senior Tool setters in getting an understanding of the manufacturing targets/KPIs of the company

• Always adhere to all health and safety regulations in place

• Assist in any immediate requests from Senior Tool Setters/Management in relation to Audits on site

What are we looking for?

• Received a pass in their Junior Certificate or equivalent

• Strong Dexterity skills with the ability to use their hands effectively

• An individual with a mechanical aptitude

• Eagerness to learn and develop in a Medical Device setting

• Willingness to work in a 4-cycle shift pattern
