We are currently seeking a Tax Accountant for our client, a financial services firm based in Athy, Co. Kildare.

This is a permanent role.

The role will play an integral part of the business to provide tax advice and ensure tax compliance for customers. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and hard-working professional to join a fast-growing group. Your new job

Key duties and responsibilities:

· Working as part of the accountancy team in a range of tasks.

· Prompt attention to customer needs, accurate assessments and processing of their tax returns across various tax heads such as Income Tax, CGT and Corporation Tax.

· Identifying opportunities and communication these through the Client Relationship Management system, to customers.

· Liaising with the team at all levels to ensure all tasks are handled efficiently.

· Managing a high volume of Clients.

What are we looking for?

· A knowledge of the Irish PAYE and Income tax system essential.

· Experience using ROS, and also liaising with Revenue Commissioners in relation to various returns, queries etc.

· Experience using Sage accounts (preparing both sole trade and company accounts).

· Knowledge of Companies Registration Office Core portal.

· Experience working in an accountancy practice an advantage.

· Must be capable of prioritising workload to meet strict deadlines.

· Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

· Must be ambitious, hard-working and familiar with working in a fast-paced customer focused environment.

· Excellent attention to detail/accuracy.
