Our Cavan based client is seeking a Sustainability Officer to join their team.

This position will be focussing on driving sustainability across the organisation. Contributing to Long term goals of the organisation in minimising environmental impact.

Your new job

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working Cross-functionally with the organisations departments in areas such as reducing waste, conserving energy and lowering carbon emissions.

• Overseeing Companies ESG Risk Assessment

• Carrying out Life cycle assessment to get a gain an understanding of the company’s carbon footprint.

• Involved in Auditing, assessments and site inspections, ensuring compliance to ISO 14001, ISO 145001 and ISO 150001

• Carry out sustainability reports, getting scope on the company’s current and future ESG commitments.

What are we looking for?

• A level 8 Degree in Engineering/ Environmental/Sustainability) or related discipline

• Environmental/Sustainability experience in a Manufacturing setting highly desired

• Familiarity to ESG and Sustainability reporting

• Knowledge on ISO standards
