What you need to know:

We are hiring a Supply Chain Specialist to join our clients team based in Dublin, reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager.

Your New Job:

The SCS is responsible for Supply Chain operational activities for a portfolio of internal/third party customers and internal/external suppliers in order to meet volume forecast targets. Includes management of internal/external Customers and Supplier Alliances, responsibility for the supply chain cycle for a portfolio of company managed products, as well as responsibility for ERP-based sales and purchase order processing. In addition, the SCS is responsible for all related product portfolio management activities. In this role, the SCS will engage with key stakeholders on the team and in wider business functions (e.g. Regulatory Affairs, Procurement, Finance, QA).

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Supply Chain Manager with day-to-day supply chain operations and issue resolution.

  • Act as a key contact for internal teams, distributors, suppliers, carriers, and customs partners to ensure continuity of supply.

  • Manage demand and supply alignment through regular cross-functional reviews, including documentation of actions.

  • Execute ERP-based purchase and sales order processing from order receipt through delivery and invoicing.

  • Monitor shipments to ensure adherence to agreed lead times and schedules, escalating risks as required.

  • Support accurate and timely invoicing in collaboration with Finance and Accounts Receivable.

  • Maintain accurate supply chain records for assigned products, including SKUs, lead times, expiry, and obsolescence.

  • Ensure compliance with customer and supplier contracts, internal procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Participate in new product launches, technical transfers, and change control activities.

  • Track and report on supplier and customer performance, contributing to KPI monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Support ERP implementations and supply chain projects as required.


What are we looking for?

  • Degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in supply chain, management, science, or a related discipline.

  • Experience in a pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare environment is advantageous.

  • Strong experience using ERP systems for inventory and order processing (SAP or Oracle preferred).

  • Good understanding of contracts and Incoterms.

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Confident and professional when working with customers and suppliers.

  • Strong IT and numerical skills.
