Matrix Recruitment is working with our client who are a leading telecommunications company to hire a Stores/Stock controller to join their team in Co. Westmeath. 

As Stores/Stock Controller you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day activities of a busy stores and fleet that includes despatching orders, stock replenishment and ordering materials from suppliers. 

This is a Permanent role with a competitive salary and benefits and is an exciting opportunity to join an excellent team in a fast-paced environment. You will report to theS tores Manager.

This is an immediate start.

Your new job

Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for receiving, storing, and handling of all products in and out of multiple warehouse facilities. 

• Recording stock rotation and replenishment and carrying out periodic stock takes.

• Assisting with the management of company fleet and that all fleet is kept in good condition. 

• Responsible for all Health & Safety in the warehouse and ensure all company Health & Safety standards are being maintained and adhered to. 

• Working with supply chain stakeholders and suppliers to ensure best pricing and supply are achieved.

• Feed and use stock management systems and suggest improvements.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar working environment.

• Strong Microsoft Office skills.

• WMS/SAP experience would be beneficial. 

• Strong analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• A keen eye for detail.

• Flexibility with a positive attitude.
