What you need to know:
Our client is seeking qualified Social Care Workers for multiple sites across the country. These roles are full-time and permanent, with a 40-hour work week and a salary scale of €36,349 to €52,445 per annum. Please note that all posts are subject to Garda Vetting and reference checks.

Key duties & responsibilities:
Advocacy and Rights
Promote the rights, dignity, and independence of individuals.
Encourage self-advocacy, decision-making, and community participation.
Person-Centered Support
Deliver personalized support in daily living, personal care, and health.
Act as a Key Worker and lead on person centered planning and reviews.
Support behavior plans, communication needs, and personal development.
Community and Social Inclusion
Facilitate access to community activities and local facilities.
Encourage participation in hobbies, household tasks, and social events.
Health, Safety, and Home Management
Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment.
Administer medication and ensure hygiene, nutrition, and wellbeing.
Report maintenance needs and support mobility and physical care.
Finance and Budgeting
Assist with budgeting, petty cash, and individual finances.
Ensure accurate financial records and prudent resource use.
Leadership and Compliance
Support team coordination, staff training, and rota management.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with policies and HIQA standards.
What are we looking for?
Minimum Level 7 qualification (QQI) in Social Care Studies or equivalent in Health or Social Care.
At least 1 years of experience working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
Knowledge of current national and sectoral policy developments in disability social care.
Ability to implement and contribute to individual support plans.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams).
Full driver’s license and access to own car (essential).
