Matrix Recruitment are seeking to recruit a- Senior Project Manager (Environmental) for our client, based in Kildare.
Your new job
Key duties & responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Planning Applications and EIA processes, including site selection and consenting decisions.
- Oversee project design phases, baseline assessments, and preparation of EIAR/AA documents.
- Provide environmental, planning, and project management expertise, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Stay informed on planning and environmental developments, contributing to policy submissions.
- Implement stakeholder engagement protocols, collaborating with the Stakeholder and Advocacy team.
- Participate in third-party service procurement processes, ensuring compliance with company guidelines.
- Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental policies.
What are we looking for?
- Honors Degree Level 8 in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent.
- Postgraduate Level 9 qualification in a relevant discipline (desirable).
- 4-7 years of experience in project management and planning applications for large-scale projects.
- Significant experience in leading planning applications and EIAs, especially in Renewable Power Generation.
- Technical expertise in infrastructure planning processes and environmental assessment.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and policy.
