Our client, a highly successful and long-established manufacturing/commercial organization are currently seeking a Senior Financial Accountant for their operations in the Midlands.

Your new job

You will be responsible for all the financial accounting function.

This is a permanent job with an excellent salary and benefits package.

 You will gain excellent exposure in the running of the finance department and working closely with the Head Of Finance.

​

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Preparation of balance-sheets, P+L statements and other financial statements

• Preparation of budgets and forecasts, analyse variances and present to Head of Finance

• Identify key issues and determine actions required

• Manage insurance budget

• Prepare capital investment appraisals

• Ensure compliance with Accounting standards, statutory regulations and tax laws

• Drive improvement in the company’s financial systems and processes

• Manage external relationships with auditors, tax advisors and financial service providers

What are we looking for?

• Qualified Accountant with 5-7 years’ experience in a commercial/manufacturing organization

• Eager to learn, enjoy a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communicator

• Strong IT skills

• Ambitious
