Senior Chemical Engineer
What you need to know:
Matrix Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Senior Chemical Engineer for our client based in County Limerick who are a leading manufacturer of building materials production.
Your New Job:
TheSenior Chemical Engineermain responsibility is to support production operations with technical expertise, while also extending support to maintenance activities.
This is a permanent fully onsite Monday – Friday role.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for production and maintenance, covering comminution equipment, kiln performance, process design, and quality control.
Monitor performance, ensure continuous process improvement, and address health and safety issues.
Support projects, overhauls, startups, commissioning, and direct contractors on specific jobs.
Resolve manufacturing problems, implement improvement programs, and maintain documented processes/manuals.
What are we looking for?
At least 3–4 years of relevant industry experience, supported by a degree (or equivalent qualification) in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal relationship-building skills
Demonstrated technical expertise
Solid project management experience and capabilities
