What you need to know
You will work as a Senior Buyer/Planner for our client, a highly successful and well-established manufacturing plant in the South-East.
You will be responsible for all aspects of production planning and materials planning for a specific business area. You will also be responsible for purchasing administration and some supplier management. You will be reporting into the Planning Manager.
This is a permanent job with an excellent salary and benefits package.
Working from home is available for 2 days per week.
Your New Job
Key Duties and responsibilities:
Manage a number of suppliers, place orders, pricing, review orders, manage supply constraints
Manage demand, issue production orders and execute plans
Maximise capacity levels, produce efficiently and maintain CSLs
Manage shipments schedules
Ensure distribution centres are aware of schedules, priorities and expedites
Review demand requirements on a daily basis
Manage inventory levels and KPIs
Maintenance of Master Data files for Materials and Vendors
Act on Engineering Change requirements
What are we looking for?
3 years+ experience in Supply Chain
Degree level of IIPMM or ARICs qualification
Strong on Lean techniques
Excellent on MS Excel and SAP
