Our client who are a leading manufacturer in County Offaly, providing bespoke solutions to the medical device industry are looking for a Quality Technician to join their team. In this role you will be reporting to the Senior Quality Engineer. You will be responsible in preventing the occurrence of any non-conformances related to the products, processes, and the quality system.

This role is permanent and will operate on a 12-hour Night Shift basis. Included in the package for the position is pension, shift allowance and a healthcare allowance.

Duties and responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for quality issues within the production area, placing raw material, finished products on hold.

• Carrying out work order review and product release including provision of release documentation.

• Involved in the approval and monitoring of process controls and records.

• Investigating production issues

• Ensuring non-conforming products are contained.

• Maintaining cGMP standards throughout the plant

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree/Certificate in a Engineering/science discipline or a Quality orientated qualification

• Demonstrated experience carrying out Quality orientated duties in a manufacturing environment.

• Ability to work on own initiative while additionally having the skillset to work effectively in a team

• Attention to detail and be accurate in carrying out there duties

• Understanding of deadlines and tight deadlines
