I am Recruiting for a Quality Product Inspector for our client based in Co. Offaly. This company is globally recognised in medical device manufacturing. Additionally, always focusing on being innovative in the development of their products. This company is growing continually at an unprecedented rate, and they are looking for an individual that will be willing to develop and grow alongside the company’s expansion.

As the Quality Product Inspector, you will be responsible for the day-to-day inspection and release of medical device products and always be proactive in Good Manufacturing Practice.

This is a Permanent job where hours of work are Monday to Friday.

Your new job

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Liaising with In-house departments such as Operations and Engineering to identify and implement process improvements

  • Documenting release activities in line with QMS procedure requirements

  • Carrying out routine inspections for the release of medical device products and associated components

  • Demonstrating a proactive approach in leading and contributing to GMP activities

  • Communicate effectively within the Quality Assurance team in supporting improvement activities

  • Involvement in process improvements and validation activities

  • Ensuring and maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following policy and procedures

What are we looking for?

  • A Third level qualification in a Science/Engineering/Quality background is advantageous

  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment with quality experience is a distinct advantage

  • Knowledge of regulatory processes such as ISO 13485, 21CFR280 and the MDSAP program would be a desired advantage

  • Ability to work under pressure and have experience of working towards targets and timelines

  • Knowledge of KPIs within a Quality environment
