Our client who are a reputable services provider for leading medical devices and pharmaceutical companies, are seeking aQuality Engineerto join their team.

The Quality Engineer will be integral in complaint/CAPA investigations, supplier quality improvement initiatives, continuous improvement initiatives and a focus towards the continuous improvement quality systems onsite.

The role will have a direct report into the Quality Manager onsite.

This is a Permanent role running on a daytime Monday to Friday basis. Benefits that tie in with the position are pension, healthcare, and 25 days annual leave.

Your new job

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide direction and monitoring to Quality Technicians and Senior Quality Technicians in the areas of product report/previews and releases.

  • Involved in Corrective actions, problem solving and continuous improvement activities.

  • Carrying out of product and/or report releases for all processing runs/lab samples containing a non-conformance, including management of Customer communication, and leading the associated non-conformance investigations.

  • Act as a knowledgeable lead in the areas of lead quality system programs.

  • Focus on Internal auditing including identification of non-compliances and report generation. Responsible for managing remediation of internal audit observations assigned by site Quality Manager.

What are we looking for?

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering/quality or relevant discipline.

  • 3-5 years of Quality Engineering experience in a Medical Devices or similar regulated environment.

  • Exposure to an ISO certified environment.

  • Previous experience to FDA QSR/ EUGMP regulations strongly preferred.
