My client in the food manufacturing sector is looking to recruit a QA Officer for their facility in Co. Offaly.

You will be responsible for conducting HACCP and hygiene compliance audits, SOP adherence and staff compliance checks.

You will report into the QA Manager.

The role rotates across 3 shift patterns every 3rd week with potential overtime available:

• 6am to 3pm.

• 7am to 4pm

• 7.30pm to 5pm

This is a permanent job.

Your new job

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Conduct on floor HACCP and hygiene compliance audits

• Control SOP’s and HACCP documentation records

• Manage the Food Safety & Quality Management System

• Monitor and ensure adherence to customer specification

• Experience with Trichinella testing, environmental swabbing or water testing

• Assist in corrective & preventative action procedures

• Assist in carrying internal audits

• Maintenance of the BRC standard & Bord Bia MPQAS

What are we looking for?

• 3rd Level qualification in Quality or related discipline

• Previous experience working in Quality Assurance/Control - advantageous

• Attention to detail, analytically minded

• Knowledge of quality standards ie. HACCP

• Proficient in IT computer skills and MS Office applications.
